Hi! Thanks for visiting my blog. I’m a 30 year old woman writing about my personal journey to, I pray, motherhood. I am starting this blog on 6/16/15, after 22 months of trying to conceive, unsuccessfully (so far).  Had I known that God would put my husband and I in this situation, I would have started this blog a long time ago, right at the beginning.  I will share my past experiences until I am caught up to the present day.  I’m using this as an outlet to share my feelings, as only a few people know the struggles my husband and I have been dealing with.  I am not going to hold back… and will write from the heart without over thinking or over analyzing.  You will read about highs, lows, and all the stuff in-between… and I hope that some pieces of this blog make you laugh and smile, and maybe you even learn some things you didn’t know before.

The absolute hardest thing for me to deal with and accept is that I can’t plan this; this is something completely out of my control, which is extremely hard for someone who lives by her calendar and to do lists.  But, this journey has forced me to learn how to be less controlling and more relaxed, which I’m now grateful for, and I’m sure my husband is too. 😉  The miracle of conceiving a child is completely in the hands of God, and I’m trying to learn from this and trust that God has a reason for not blessing us with a child, yet.  Our baby will come when he/she is meant to, and this is what I have faith in and what gets me out of bed each morning.  Possibility. Hope. Future.  Even though life can sometimes be challenging, it is also so very beautiful and you only get one, with whatever cards you may be dealt…

You can find my blogs by scrolling below. They will make more sense if you read them in order, starting on Blog #1.

Thank you for visiting my website and reading about my journey!
